Inspired by the ecology of a tree, prestigious Olson Kundig Architects of Seattle have designed an iconic multi-family residence for British Pacific Properties in the Rodgers Creek area off Cypress Bowl Road. The architecture is an assemblage of vertical masses scaled to the height lf the surrounding trees. Two “service trunks” reach out to capture daylight and fresh air. Spaces grow and extend organically, forming physical connections to nature and creating outdoor living spaces. On the top three floors, the units branch out to form a canopy in the sky.
