Amenities at Tesoro
Indoor and outdoor amenity areas on Level 3 have been proposed that include a kitchenette, accessible washrooms, and a large patio with views of Science World and False Creek. Almost 20,000 sq ft of the property will be dedicated to park space to be merged with a new city park on the east side of Ontario Street that stretches from the False Creek seawall to East 1st Avenue.

Parking and Storage
Tesoro will provide residents with 3 levels of underground parking that will accommodate 114 bicycle spaces and 155 vehicle stalls, of which 6 are for visitors, 6 for electric vehicles, 55 are EV-ready, and 5 are accessible. There will also be racks for 6 visitor bicycles at ground level.

Founded in 1989, Concert specializes in developing rental apartments, condominium homes and retirement communities, acquiring and developing commercial, industrial and infrastructure properties, and in property management. With operations in British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario, Concert has completed developments in excess of $2 billion, built 9,000 rental and condominium homes, and developed or acquired more than 10 million square feet of income-producing properties. Established in 1983, Rafii Architects is a Vancouver architectural firm offering comprehensive services in architecture, urban design, planning, and interior design. Their reputation is characterized by a proven ability to work with public officials and challenging client programs, while maintaining a timeless and refined design philosophy. Rafii’s extensive portfolio includes many well-received projects throughout the Greater Vancouver area, Vancouver Island, Alberta, and the US with particular recognition for high-rise residential and mixed-use projects. Examples featured here include Cascade City, Hudson Place One, and the nearby Meccanica.

ZGF Architects was selected to provide design work for Tesoro. They are a practice with more than 600 professionals in offices in Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, New York City, Washington DC, and Vancouver. The firm’s design portfolio is intentionally diverse, ranging from transportation terminals, commercial office and mixed-use developments to corporate campuses, healthcare and research buildings, academic facilities, libraries, and museums. In addition to receiving more than 770 local, regional, and national design awards, ZGF was honoured with the American Institute of Architects’ highest honour, the Architecture Firm Award, recognized for “creatively transforming client needs and aspirations into elegant, inventive architectural form, and establishing a standard of excellence and expectation of quality to which other firms aspire.”

BBA is a multi-disciplinary interior design firm led by principal and founder, Sharon Bortolotto. BBA Design Consultants’ highly-talented team has worked on a wide variety of projects specializing in hospitality, retail, spa, multi-family residential, and commercial projects. Projects include several iconic, award-winning properties including Wickininnish Inn, Nita Lake Lodge, and Black Rock Oceanfront Resort.
