Spaces for Living Well
The transformation of Metrotown from a suburban style auto-oriented shopping mall into a dynamic, pedestrian-focused mixed-use development begins now with Concord Metrotown. Concord Pacific’s master-planned community on the 9-acre Sears Metrotown site is the first development in the Metro Downtown neighbourhood. Seven towers will be built in four phases over mixed-use podiums to create vertical villages with terraces of commercial development surrounding highrise living.
Located on Kingsway between McMurray Avenue and Nelson Avenue, Sky Park is the first phase of Concord Metrotown. It consists of 1,309 new homes in three residential towers, ranging from 33 to 65 storeys, built above a 3-storey podium with 48,000 sq ft of indoor resident amenities on the top floor and two levels of commercial space below. This will include two anchor retail spaces, an 8,500-sq-ft restaurant space, and two 2,000-sq-ft cafe spaces.
At Sky Park, you’ll enjoy just about everything you need and desire without leaving the community. Four major shopping districts will fulfill your retail needs — from unique ingredients while you shop at local grocers to trendsetting designs that will enhance your wardrobe. Sample global dishes created by local chefs at the wide selection of nearby restaurants. Enrich your life by balancing urban energy with nature breaks at Central, Burnaby Lake, or Deer Lake parks. With 25% of Burnaby’s land designated as parks and open spaces, opportunities are boundless. To travel to other corners of Greater Vancouver, most places can be easily reached within 30 minutes by bike, transit, or car.
With re-imagined living, exceptional amenity spaces, and Concord’s innovative wellness systems, Concord Metrotown is designed for the next generation of condo living.

The Stream Plaza — located at the site’s symbolic gateway — envisions accessible seating areas, outdoor restaurant and cafe patios, and opportunities for water play. The Lake Plaza has a more residential orientation that features seating oriented around a semi-covered area with water that flows below the signature tower into the lobby. An enclosed dog walk, an extensively-landscaped seating area, and an outdoor games area for activities — such as table tennis, chess, or bocce
— are proposed for the Metro Way Parkette.
