Coming soon to the Sea to Sky corridor, Britannia Beach is a 10.11-acre development that will consist of a residential neighbourhood and a heritage village with over 20,000 sq ft of commercial space incorporated in many refinished historic buildings. A joint venture between Adera Development and Macdonald Development, this seaside community overlooking picturesque Howe Sound, will feature 64 townhomes and nine live/work units. Amenities will include a daycare, a fitness centre, playground, community garden, and an off-leash dog park.

Floor Plans for Britannia Beach
Britannia Beach’s 64 townhomes offer a selection of 2- and 3-bedroom floorplans with an average living space of 1,600 sq ft. Facing Copper Drive, each home will have a private entry, lawn, and patio. A number of the internal units will back onto a large lawn.

Live/Work townhomes will be located along a pedestrian mews in the commercial village.

The row of townhomes within the commercial village will consist of nine live/work units with work spaces on the ground floor. These spaces can accommodate home-based businesses, such as artists, artisans, or service professionals. Garages will be accessed from the drive, while the opposite side presents a retail front onto a public mews.

Amenities at Britannia Beach
The heart of the community will be a vibrant heritage village with a variety of amenities, shops, and services, such as a community hall, general store, and post office. One of the existing village buildings is being repurposed to serve as a daycare. Another building will be transformed into a community fitness centre, with a multi-purpose space in the basement for ski and bike tuning. Alongside Britannia Creek will be a linear park and pathway that will connect an off-leash dog park on the west side of the property to a playground and community garden on the east side, adjacent to Copper Drive.

A commercial village will include a full-service grocer, family restaurant, and a local cafe.

Parking and Storage
Each home will have an attached 1- or 2-car garage. Garages are accessed from an internal drive that includes spaces for visitor parking. Within the commercial village will be surface parking for retail customers and bus parking for tourism service providers.
